10 Days to go...

Well preparations are well underway!

We have a couple more riders registered and ready to be sponsored; welcome Stuart Foster and Major Steve Miller!  Still hoping to confirm a couple more...

The to-do list is gradually getting smaller.  Yesterday our support vehicle - courtesy of The Salvation Army Moonah; thanks Lt. Amy Jones - underwent a bit of a makeover in readiness to let people know that we're going to be out and about.

Bikes are being cleaned and serviced.  Equipment is starting to be gathered.  Things are progressing nicely.

I am under no allusions that next week is going to be busy, even hectic.  Everything is going to need to be packed up and ready for our drive North on Friday.  I can't help but think that I'm in the lull before the storm, but we'll see.

Excitingly on Friday evening Stuart and I will be 'On the Couch' at Connections at Launceston Corps talking about the ride before we head off for Burnie the following morning.  It'll be great to share with the Salvos at Launy as we won't be getting into town on the Sunday until the afternoon, so it'll be great to talk about the ride and more importantly about the need for supporting The Salvation Army.

If you haven't already checked out the website for the Ride, then you can head there now by clicking on this link - http://redshieldride2015.gofundraise.com.au/cms/home
